Supply Chain Engineering and Product Data Manager
Role
Our client is well established international IT company, which delivers e-commerce hardware and software solutions to clients round the globe. HW production site is outsourced to Taiwan factory, suppliers are mainly (not only) in Asia. For its European HQ office in Prague, we are searching for Supply Chain Engineering and Product Data Manager.
Successful candidate will among others handle these tasks:
- Manage all products bill of materials (BOM) in product data management (PDM) system (Responsibility for structure, keep up to date, design new releases, work close with R&D & advice, review for production readiness)
- Start new releases for supply chain relevant products (HW/SW) and design and initiate lifecycles
- Responsibility for Terminal Quality Management (configuration management certification (TÜV/MasterCard))
- Guide and prepare changes in supply chain from engineering point of view
- Responsibility for work instructions, process reviews, lean production, ensure changes, get introduced into P-lines (release and manage changes with ODM/ Supplier/Logistic Hubs/ partners).
Profile
- Master degree in (comp.) science or alternative education
- Background in Production Engineering and Operative Quality Assurance for complex IT products
- Technical background to structure products and understand technical changes and skilled to do documentation
- Knowledge on product data management and BOM structuring as well as skilled to drive audits and get audited by external parties
- Very good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Team-player; experience in international teams environment prefered
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel.
