SAP Program Manager Europe
Role
Our client is leading global FMCG company, with European headquarters in Prague. We are searching for a SAP Program Manager. You would be part of the companys European Transformation Program team, being accountable for the assembly and management of SAP S/4HANA Digital Core Implementation Program. It is complex, multi-year implementation program, with multiple workstreams and involves number of stakeholders on both business and technology sides. You would be accountable for co-ordination and planning across multiple business and partner project managers and PMO organisations and for setting up project and resourcing plans, managing RAID Logs, managing deliverables for each phase of the program and ensuring documentation for each phase is completed. You would also:
- Lead the development of the overall SAP program plan, its major time frames and the definition of its major deliverables to address and meet the desired goals and outcomes
- Establish and ensure appropriate governance functions for the project in accordance with the overall Programme Governance, policies, practices and on behalf of the Senior Programme Stakeholders
- Drive consistency and quality in execution of capability associated projects and migrations, aligned with CIO Offices Project Management methodology and stage-gates
- Proactively identify, effectively asses and mitigate program/project level risks
- Monitor success of program and recommend adjustments to strategy or timing with clear goals, objectives and clear outcomes
- Develop and control the program budget and manage expenditure within agreed spending plans
- Ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across project teams within the program
- Lead reviews with the executive stakeholders to identify organic or specific project needs and changes
- Lead the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications and reporting
- Lead the oversight of the projects execution, its progress compared with the plan and the production of agreed deliverables
- Direct or approve the establishment of a framework or guidelines for the use of contractors and professional service providers, and determine their use across the program
- Support and facilitate agenda setting for program committee/steercom meetings
Profile
- 10+ years of project management experience in the areas of planning, managing and leading all phases of diverse SAP projects
- Comprehensive influencing skills and ability to handle positively and effectively mitigations and sensitively work with senior business and IT stakeholders
- Adaptable, able to prioritize and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Tenacious, results-orientated approach
- Independent judgment and decision-making
- Ability to understand business issues and risk
- Strong facilitation skills; organizational influence, and leadership are essential
- Demonstrate concise verbal and written communication skills, appropriate to the audience
- Fluent in English
