Role
Our client is a leading IT company, which designs, implements and supports SAP solutions, which are used for advanced usage of data and digitization outputs towards "data managed company" goals. Our client is market leader in Switzerland, has strong position in Austria and Germany and growing business in several other European countries. The company HQ is in Prague, however the job in mainly performed from home-office. To increase their business development efforts, we are searching for a Sales Manager, who will be responsible to:
- Develop and maintain an effective business, sales and marketing plan for European market
- Identify and Manage sales opportunities, lead follow up, networking and partner relationships
- Manage complete sales process from prospect qualification, needs analysis to deal close
- Work with pre-sales team when technical or product support is required
- Organize and participate on sales workshops and conferences with clients
- Build relationships with business users and stakeholders within clients
- Demonstrate and maintain a high level of knowledge of company products and services
- Cooperate with internal team on joined presales and sales activities
- Other sales related tasks
Required Skills and Experience
- Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation and organizational skills
- 5+ years of experience in sales of complex business software / IT solutions
- Experience and track record in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business
- Ability to develop and maintain effective sales strategy plans
- Knowledge of software direct and indirect sales channels
- Ability to successfully negotiate complex contracts
- Experience in a team-selling environment
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis
- Must be strong in English - spoken and written
- Knowledge of SAP platform and technology welcomed, not required
