Regional Logistic Manager
Role
Our client is an international IT company with well established presence in the Czech Republic as well as round the globe. Logistic Manager will be working for the new entity, which delivers hardware and software solutions to clients in Europe. The position is located in Prague.
He/she will fulfil the following responsibilities:
- Manage logistics/warehousing/shipping/transportation and supply chain management to maximize regional synergies and minimize cost
- Develop a long term operations strategy in logistics
- Build central regional logistics to increase flexibility, speed and reaction time
- Develop new forecasting/ordering/replenishment/drop-shipment system
- Develop KPIs for logistics team in order to provide best in class services in serving customers
- Design logistics services & processes to ensure high quality of communication & interaction with customers
- Establish logistics escalation & problem solving processes with clear roles & responsibilities in the region
- Align with sales heads on support required for key customers.
Profile
- 3-5 years of working experience in a management of logistics & supply chain
- Professional knowledge of logistics and supply chain management
- A complete project or implementation of supply chain management system
- Assertive strong individual but a team player with a desire to succeed and achieve targets
- Able to apply a client driven approach across the whole logistics organization
- Excellent analytical skills, good judgment and planning skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- University degree
- Fluent English.
