Purchasing Manager
Role
Our client is one of the most important European manufactures and suppliers of medicinal gas distribution systems.
Primary responsibility of the Purchasing Manager is dealing with new and current suppliers in order to establish good business relationship and continuously improve cooperation conditions. He/she will report to the General Manager and will fulfil following tasks:
- Monitoring and evaluation of suppliers (supplier audits)
- Identifying and contracting with new suppliers
- Management of strategic and operational purchase
- Supply chain/warehouse management
- Lead team of 8 subordinates
- Cooperation with the technical department on development and research projects
- Prepare surveys of internal customers satisfaction with suppliers.
Profile
- Experience with purchase management, preferably in industrial production, for at least 5 years
- Experience with pricing negotiations and tender management
- Experience with inventory management and stock control
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen
- Independent, responsible
- Advanced MS Office user
- Driving license B
- Communicative knowledge of English, knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
