Oracle Database Administrator
Role
Our client is an international IT company, which provides cashless payment solutions to clients round the globe. We are searching for an Oracle Database Administrator, who will be part of a team, which is administrating and maintaining high availability and high volume electronic payments processing solutions.
Job details:
- Installing and upgrading the Oracle database
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database
- Handling of hard- and soft-ware errors with vendors
- Overall responsible for the Incident/ Problem/ Change/ Release/ Configuration management process for Oracle DB
- Delivering of complex non standard orders
- Backup and recovery of database
- Maintaining systems documentation.
Profile
- Oracle DBA experience
- Oracle RDBMS or Oracle Enterprise manager knowledge is welcomed, not required
- Basic Oracle PL/SQL knowledge
- Basic Linux/Bash scripting knowledge
- PostgreSQL knowledge welcomed
- English on communication level (daily communication in English)
- Technical and conceptual thinking
- Proactive approach.
