Logistics Manager CE

Role

Our client is an international retail chain with branches accross Europe. Headquartered in France, it manages Central European (CE) markets from Prague office. We are searching for candidates for Logostics Manager position.

The successful candidate will be able to ensure the best response management, logistics, transportation, distribution and postal, warehousing and inventory results for all CE countries by managing 3rd party Service Suppliers undertaking. It includes:

Profile

  • Good command of English.
  • University degree
  • Five years experience in international logistics management required. Can be gained in-house in supply-chain management or within the distribution/logistic/postal industry.
  • Five years team/people management experience required, strong team leader.
  • Excellent negotiating, interpersonal and communication skills; strong and demonstrated ability to negotiate win/win situations and good deals.
  • Good skills in cost managements.
  • Financial and analytical skill; Oracle or SAP know-how is a benefit.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, multiple countries remote balancing current action with medium and long-term developments.
  • Cosmopolitan attitude - as he/she will have responsibilities in various cultures.
  • Very customer focused attitude.
  • Able to travel intensively, up to one to two days a week.
  • Decisive; not afraid to take calculated risks to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Highly motivated in order to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement; is enthusiastic and encourages others to succeed.
