Cloud Lead

Role

Our client is leading international FMCG company, producing and delivering globaly well known food and bewerage brands. It manages its Central and Eastern Europe business from Prague. We are searching for a Cloud Lead, who willl be member of a team, which operates European IT environment from Prague. IT is integral part of the business and is currently working on transformations to support digital innovations and business goals of the company.

Cloud Lead will be managing and closely working with the 3rd party vendors to ensure the Cloud and Hosting solutions are operating in line with SLA. He/she will be the owner and responsible for ensuring all service requests and incidents are managed and solved. He/she will be also defining technology platforms standards, co-ordinate future development with other collegues in IT team and last but not least work on new solutions to cope with business requests. The job responsibilities will include:

Design/review of new solutions to keep the resources optimized, improve system performance, management and monitoring
Analyse of complex infrastructure change requests, conducts cost – benefit analyses of multiple options
Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery solution working together with suppliers
Drive continuous performance improvement by identifying and initiating process improvements for any performance gap
Ensure all changes are implemented into production and do not generate any foreseeable incidents
Communicate effectively with development, systems or infrastructure resources on issues impacting application management
Ensure that service providers adhere to all the terms and conditions of the contract
Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required
Facilitates monthly / quarterly service reviews for each major infrastructure vendor
Maintain technical documentation updated
Adopt new techniques and practices as the organization maturity develops

Profile

At least 5 years experience in managing Cloud services (MS Azure prefered)
Exprience in Hosting and Storage management
Experience in managing 3rd party vendors
ITIL knowledge and experience
Independent judgment and decision-making
Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
Fluent in English
