Chief Accountant

Role

Our client belongs to large international holding and investments company that is active worldwide. Investments portfolio is of large scale, from real estate and incomeproducing properties to fashion and entertainment. Our client is present in Czech republic since 1997, focusing in real estate investment and development. The firm is looking for an Accounting manager, who will be reporting to Financial manager in the Czech republic and will be responsible for a team of 5 people.

The position will be responsible also for:

Methodological leadership (standby, advisor) of accounting based on Czech Accounting Standards
Accounting Procedure leadership & management of 15 Czech companies (income tax, VAT, real estate tax, road tax etc.)
Monthly VAT Returns revisions
Service reimbursement reports controlling
Issued invoices controlling
Approval process on received invoices controlling
IFRS/IAS knowledge
Reporting Templates creation
Consolidation reporting package creation
Daily payment procedure execution
CITR finalization
Statutory Closing realization/supervision
Czech Notes creation
Reports on Profit/Loss distribution/settlement creation
Reports on Related Parties creation
Czech Statistic Bureau Reports creation
Czech National Bank Reports creation
Different request on information from other company departments realization
Service reimbursement reports controlling
Inter-company Balance Confirmation & Settlement.

Profile

Experience with accounting position at least 5 years
Czech tax knowledge & problems solving; IFRS/IAS knowledge is an advantage
Developed managerial skills; team management experience at least 3 years
Ability to work in flexible and changing environment; good organizational skills
On hands approach; able to participate and give advices
Mature personality, with natural authority
Focused on efficiency
Detail oriented, self controlled and responsible
Communicative English
Advanced MS Office (esp. MS Excel) user.
